Thanks, Pierre, for the picture, it's exactly what we were thinking of when we replied to Bert's comments after his gondola picture of 11th Jan. It looks a bit busier than when last we stood on the other side of the Rio, looking over to it, about 12 months ago.
I have to thank you for this one too—my introduction to this squero goes back many many years, and I still go by there every time I get to Venice.
The one place I plan to go this Oct, do they let you into the workshop or is it just a case of looking across the canal?
