how i wish i was on the boat coming back from Burano
Burano is a 'gem' of an island. We did the 'tourist' tour to the island and went back on our own a few days later....we loved it!
..... and Burano leads to Torcello... that is, if you can bring yourself to leave the beautiful cats of Burano. Wonder if the splendidly barred one by the lace shop is still "meeting and greeting"? Ah, well, there are plenty of cats on Torcello. It's nice and peaceful for them and the few of us who get there, in the Winter months.
Love the light in this shot—especially in b&w. (Wish we were enjoying a Thanksgiving eve spritz together again, like last year, Pierre!)
Wow...so quiet on the boat. The summer crowd has left...peace. We loved Burano on our visit in September.
I like the light balance in the picture. The picture itself inspires me solace. Great pic!
