My new toy

I couldn't wait till tomorrow! I just downloaded a program that stitches overlapping photos together, and used it to make this panorama taken from the roof of the car park, just before the Ponte della Costituzione was opened. As Eric used to say: "You can't see the join!"

Nice, me too for the higher-res.
When I was at Venice my hotel was nearby and that place was my first view of the Grand Canal after arriving on the Aerobus....

Fun toy! My camera does this for me (panoramas, that is), and I just love them (but I do find that the resolution often suffers a bit). Oh well, still fun. :~}

The resolution of the panorama on my computer is as good as the originals (I think), but when it goes on Blogger, the longest side is 700 pixels, which, in this case, means each individual photo has been reduced to about 115 pixels.
The next one I will be posting is only two photos in portrait format stitched together, so it will look better.
