Winding Street

Dear friends and VDP visitors, with this image ends the "spring season" of our Venetian meanderings. "I'm leaving on a jet plane" for another country that I love and from which I'll send you a postcard within some days, as I did last year. I wish all of you a splendid summer!

Fear not! I shall do my best to give you your daily fix of the drug that does no harm and has no side-effects - Venice! [But it is very addictive.]
A clue to today's location: For the rio, look carefully from item to item (6 letters).

Bert, make those clues easy, you know how lazy I am.

I like the way the spots of blue lead your eye up the canal.
