Dear friends and VDP visitors, with this image ends the "spring season" of our Venetian meanderings. "I'm leaving on a jet plane" for another country that I love and from which I'll send you a postcard within some days, as I did last year. I wish all of you a splendid summer!

I hope your trip does not mean that there won't be any other pictures with the most beautiful city in the world...
Fear not! I shall do my best to give you your daily fix of the drug that does no harm and has no side-effects - Venice! [But it is very addictive.]
