Venice, Italy, in one picture a day By Pierre, Bert, Suzy, Alain and friends...

Definitely part of a Venetian parent's job is carrying strollers and scooters over bridges! And I have no idea where this is. :~}
And, I wonder how they teach them not to fall into the canals!
At first glance, this is the bridge from the Campo Gheto Novo to Calle de la Fornase, the Ponte del Gheto Novissimo.
Perfectly right Bert, your first glance was the good one!
It's everybody's job to help carry carriages and strollers and tots over the bridges.
We went to Venice in 1984 with two toddlers (1 and 3 years)and two strollers. The only person who helped us over any bridge was an English chap who played piano for one of the San Marco caffès.
Right Bert, I've Campo Gheto Novo behind me...
