Mr Blue Sky

Sun is shinin' in the sky,
There ain't a cloud in sight
San Pietro di Castello. Until 1807 this was the cathedral of Venice. The leaning campanile is the only one in Venice that is faced in Istrian stone. It (the campanile) was built 1482-88 (or '90) by Mauro Codussi. The drum was added in 1670, replacing the original dome which was blown off (!) in 1659. This photo was taken in September 2010.
