Dinner time!
Starving after a whole day walking in Venice? This is one of our favorite places for a nice and hearty pizza, let's say gorgonzola spinachi (or a pasta al pesto o al nero di seppia...). It's "I Sportivi", in the south part of Campo Santa Margherita.

Oh, yes, I wish I could dine there this evening!
Looks inviting even without any food on the table. We usually go to Antico Capon, but next time I'll try "your" place, Pierre! (BTW, have you ever had John's pizza on Bleecker? I was just there last night—we had an onion and meatball pie.)
Some yummy pizza and a little vino rosso - that's all I want, too!

Wait for me, I'll be right there (I need about 5 hours flight plus maybe two hours transfers..) Wonderful photo, great lighting and composition.
Thanks Alexa for the John's pizza on Bleecker idea. I'll be in your beautiful city some days from July 4th. I'll definitely go and let you know how we enjoyed the pizza.
Why not Randy, we could decide of one day a year when those who are in the Venice area coud gather here for a pizza, some red wine and a friendly evening!
You're perfectly right Leif Hagen, my blog list is awfully obsolete! Maybe you (or anybody more aware of the DP blogs than I am) could tell me where I could get an updated version of it?

I love this! Great shapes and light and composition! Plus red is my favorite color.
