Anch'io—I'll take Aperol. This spritz is my favorite thing to drink in Venice or anywhere (though hard to get elsewhere). Thanks, Pierre—and cheers!

By the way, you're sitting near the church of Santa Maria Formosa, the white stone base of the campanile is just visible on the right, and that's the Hotel Scandinavia directly opposite.

You can't get Aperol in Canada, but I have found it in the US. Does anyone have the proper recipe for a spritz? How much Aperol, how much prosecco and how much aqua?
