Police
The atom bombs are piling up in the factories, the police are prowling through the cities, the lies are streaming from the loudspeakers, but the earth is still going round the sun. George Orwell
Those officers sure do look serious. And I love the father shepherding his little boy out of the way. This spot sure is off the beaten track, Pierre! I wonder what you were doing waaay over at the far western end of the city.
What would the cities be like without the police prowling around? There are some scary people out there, and this little boy deserves the protection of tough cops. I love how these uniforms seem so formal.
Well not necessarily my own opinion Jeff but just a quote from one of my favorite authors, from his anticipation novel 1984, as you without doubt know ...

Incredible photo. Fantastic contrast of the protective father and the officers.

They look to be on a serious mission ...

This is a provocative photo, that's for sure!
