Now there's an elegant spot to read the morning paper! Last time I was in Venice, there were a few gondoliers looking for customers right below our apartment window—fun to watch. (In fact, one of them was this guy!)
That's the second time in my life (61 years) that I've seen the word 'passementerie' used!
sigh..even reading the paper looks magical in Italia!
