Morning Delivery


In Venice's backstage, workers bustle about, early in the morning so that everything is ready when the curtain rises and the crowd overruns the city...

Your city is like being on stage isn't it?! I'm sure you get tired of the tourists, but it's such a compliment - your city is unique and beautiful beyond compare. Like your action shot.

This reminds me of an early morning walk I took in your city. Exactly as you said. The real business of the city was taking place from boats, to prepare it for the morning opening. So calm compared to to high noon.
