This is sooooo beautiful, and make me want to visit the city. It is a beautiful photo, with many interesting details and pretty colors and a very nice reflection.
I have never been to Venice, but its high up on my list! We are so glad to have found your blog and look forward to following you. This is a stunning shot and I love that reflection in the water! Cheers from San Francisco!
That's a stunner. Some of those overpriced galleries around the Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge could earn you a few euros for this. (And for themselves, of course.)
I love your comment with your profile. With that in mind and because of your wonderful photos we may plan another trip to Italy, with Venice on the agenda. Hope it works out!! Your photo and reflection are wonderful...so attractive.
Well done Bert! To Leif : If I remember it was around 8 in the morning. To Alexa : True, but the best time for a good light is early in the morning and late in the evening. And in the morning, you'll just meet one or two people in the streets, or working men, and I like this quiteness. But I must say that in Venice, noon can be a good time too, in some narrow streets, dark until the sun is at its highest...
Venice, the most magical place I've been to. Nothing can beat the charm, grace and dignity this island has. You've captured it well. How I wish I could visit again. Till then, the pictures.

What time was it? "Early" must be a relative term. I guess it was 9:30 am.
Great photo with the walkway bridge!
Thanks for taking me back to familiar and new places in Venice every day (this one is very familiar). Pierre, I'm beginning to wonder when you sleep!
Wow!! Brilliant shot!
This is a gorgeous photo. Someday I'm going to make it to your beautiful city.

That's Ponte Lombardo over Rio del Malpaga where Rio della Toletta joins it.
Well done Bert!
