That's a stunner. Some of those overpriced galleries around the Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge could earn you a few euros for this. (And for themselves, of course.)

To Leif : If I remember it was around 8 in the morning.
To Alexa : True, but the best time for a good light is early in the morning and late in the evening. And in the morning, you'll just meet one or two people in the streets, or working men, and I like this quiteness. But I must say that in Venice, noon can be a good time too, in some narrow streets, dark until the sun is at its highest...
