Night on the Canal

The Grand Canal (Italian : Canal Grande, Venetian : Canalasso/Canalazzo) curves along the very heart of Venice. It is indeed the geographical as well as the symbolic center of the city, and to everyone being along its banks it gives the sensation of being in a unique landscape.

I have not seen every part of the world, but I believe Venice's Grand Canal is indeed a unique landscape, not just the sensation of one.

Is there another city where canals are the streets?

A fantastic night shot with all those gondolas on the Canal Grande!

In today's posting: life's good for Johnny with a yacht like that!
