Morning Promenade in Castello

Near San Martino Vescovo and the Arsenal, little streets, canals, bridge, colored houses, reflections... but hardly any tourist. Venice as we like it, clean, quiet and provincial, so far from the tourist traps!

*sigh* I've stared at this photo for over 6 minutes imagining all sorts of lovely Sunday afternoon fantasies of strolling along quietly. I love how you share Venice with us all.

The reflections have as much character as the actual buildings. This composition is so appealing.

Looks like a beautiful place to take a morning walk. The colors of the buildings and the reflections are lovely.

It's especially pristine looking ~ almost like everyone decided to re-paint at the same time. Gorgeous, Pierre!
