I suppose this is what makes me the photographer that I am...I love the shadow...I also think if it weren't for the shadow there would not be the light. The way the shadow is cast and the perfect timing of the picture casts the perfect light...brilliant simply brilliant. To have the perfect shadow is not an easy photograph one bit. Were you photographing this shot because of the shadow or the light? I often shoot shots because of the shadow myself that is why I ask..well either way it is simply brilliant!!!
That's 'Sotoportego', of course. Those fire hydrants are a real nuisance, aren't they? You know, if there's anything red in a photo, your eye goes straight to it. I don't like people in my photos, but especially people wearing red.

Nice, Pierre. It's not so scuro here, with the sun shining on that lovely old ochre wall.
The honey toned colours are so pretty that it eclipses the fact that the walls dilpidated!
This picture is so beautiful it haunts me !
Wonderful composition and colors - how perfect to have someone walking through!
