Riva degli Schiavoni
Large bank at the south of the Castello, la Riva degli Schiavoni stretches from the Palazzo Ducale to the Arsenal. It's a nice and sunny promenade along St Mark's Basin, sometimes packed with tourists...
I remember being so very hot walking there in the afternoon sun. I turned into the smaller streets that were shaded. Right now, that heat sounds good: it was -17 C this morning.

SOMETIMES packed with tourists?? Oh well, who can blame them? But, oh, those beautiful pink streetlights! Why can't we have those in NYC?
I think the street lights tell a lot about the city they are in. Pink street lights, where else but Venice.
Beautiful shot.
Like a postcard!
Oh my gosh. Pink street lamps! Lovely.
