Boy With Frog
Yes, it's the Dogana di Mare, in a new version signed by sculptor Charles Ray and French (Breton would certainly be more appropriate) businessman François Pinault. The good thing : you can now access the long time closed Punta della Dogana, one of the most magical places in Venice.
The less good thing : if you come at dawn to sit here with your lover and admire the first rays of light on San Mark's Basin, you will indeed be three, with the security guard - watching for the Boy's and the frog's well-being - right behind you.

So glad to see that the dogana is once again accessible. I'm even willing to share it with the boy, the frog, and the guard. So are you back, Pierre?
Ooh, missed it by a few months. Oh, well, next time!
Nice photo.
From behind or in front this is a place I would like to find myself at dawn. Nice shot.
Pleased to see people getting the same enjoyment out of Tuscany that I do. The landscape is magical, the food beyond description, and the locals are the friendliest on Earth. It really is a place that must be experienced to be understood. In interest of full disclosure, I do offer Tuscan food and wine tours. Next time you are in Tuscany stop on by. Drop me a line at www.tuscanway.com if you have any questions.
nice blog
