Night walk in the Cannagegio
It's rainy, it's midnight... but I like to walk alone, along the straight Cannaregio canals, on the deserted banks, on the silent streeets, and observe the special features of houses and palaces.
I HAVE walked thereāso thanks for taking me back. There's nothing quite like Venice late at night when you are the only one about (something that never happens at any hour in New York; there are always others on the street with you here).

what a magical stroll it is to walk the alleyways and streets in Venice. Always something visually pleasing around the corner.
Pierre! J'aime votre blog. De telles belles photos.
Thanks for sharing these!
I agree with Sally. Venice is the only place for a beautiful picture such as this. I would love to walk there.

This photo would also make a perfect shadow theme day choice. I like your description of your solitary walks.
