Your pictures are so intriguing! I'dlove to visit Venice at least three times a year, but manage to come only every 5 yers or so. But your beautiful pictures make life more tolerable in cold wintry Vienna.
My hub still believes that the mountains are the Karawanken but I think he had better look it up on the map :)
