Spring on the Campo Santa Margherita

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

Campo Santa Margherita, north of the Dorsoduro, is one of the most animated places in the city. Venitian, mostly students and young families, like to come here to catch some afternoon sun, and sit on a terrace for a drink, an ice-cream or a slice of pizza.

I would love to be there, too, taking in the sun. It's interesting to see how those of us who have to endure cooler weather appreciate the sun's rays. Good shot of a spring activity.

Finally I found parts of Venice that I would like to see, not the ones someone wants to show me.
Pictures are great.
Before going to Venice it is better to visit this blog than some crap gallersies showing the same things all the time.

I visited Venice on my honeymoon in '98. It holds a special place in my heart. I hope to go again and your blog is helping me plan my walking tour. Thank you for the insights! What a wonderful way to spend the afternoon.

I LOVE this campo, and you have made me yearn to be there! We stayed a week in Dorsoduro - I think my favourite part of venice.
